FIRST DIBS! And Discount Codes!

Hello hello!

I promised there’d be a lot to share this month—so let’s dive in!

Over the past few weeks, I had the chance to sit down with two incredible women who are each making waves in the world of health and wellness. It was a meaningful moment for me to share more about the work I’m doing and to connect with new listeners. We explored airway health topics and, excitingly, I got to introduce something I’ve been working on for a long time: my Smile Support Stairsteps.

If you missed either of those podcast episodes, I’d love for you to give them a listen—and let me know what you think!

  • Less Stressed Life Podcast with Christa Biegler - Listen here!

Now for the big news…
I’m thrilled to officially share my brand-new eBook guide: The Smile Support Stairsteps!

This has truly been a labor of love, and I hope that shows. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the wide range of treatment options in airway dentistry, this guide was made for you. It’s my attempt to bring more clarity to the confusing landscape of “tools” and treatments—and to empower parents like you to make more confident decisions.

As a thank you for being here, I’m offering an exclusive 20% discount to the first 10 people who grab a copy. Just use the code: 2J4F28C7FG.

Something New I Learned Recently

I recently connected with Dr. Karen Parker Davidson, author of the new book Breathe Through Your Nose, Don't Pay Through It: The Impact The Healthcare Industry Has On Nasal Function And How We Breathe. I purchased her book and will be reading it next month, so stay tuned for key takeaways!

In my first freebie eBook, The Healthy Mouth Manual I spoke about nasal dilators. I had a bit about BreatheRight strips, but I wasn't actually 100% sure whether the newer, more high tech magnetic version from Intake was suitable for kids. Karen reassured me that the S1 size can be used for kids, and even provided her discount code in case anyone wants to try them out. FYI the S1 size is not part of the starter packet.

Also, catch me talking about some of her research on Instagram this week...

My key takeaway?
Using a Vivos device (also part of the Toothpillow system), half the children in the study who suffered from bedwetting had complete resolution of bedwetting by the 14th day of treatment- that's amazing to me.

Speaking of Instagram, people seemed to like learning about Peanut the Turtle. Read more here if you're curious.

Okay, that’s it for this (short and sweet!) newsletter. I wanted to keep it brief since it’s packed with goodies—and you might need a little time to dive into those podcast episodes.

Is there anything on your mind lately? Something you’ve been wondering or waiting to ask? I’d love to hear from you—and I just might answer your question in the next newsletter.

Be well and talk soon,
Dr. Julia

It’s been a wild few weeks over here. After sharing about ear tubes last month, my little one - our sweet pup Alfred - needed sedation and a scope to investigate recurring ear inflammation. At one point or another, we've tried it all for this guy - allergy testing and nutrition consults, acupuncture, probiotics, supplements, and more. His gut flared terribly post-procedure. We were up every 1–2 hours at night for days. Sleep was ruff, and I was wiped. While I know it’s not the same as...

Leveraging My Strengths to Support Your Family Have you ever taken the VIA Character Strengths test? It’s a survey tool that helps you take a look at yourself from a whole new perspective. This may seem a little off topic compared to my normal content, but hang with me. I’ve always been someone who takes her time with decisions—quietly and carefully weighing options, sometimes long after others think the choice is obvious. It can come across as indecision (just ask my spouse), but in truth,...

FAQ: Could a Dental Expander ACTUALLY Help Shrink Your Child’s Tonsils? Researchers looked at 60 children and found that after treatment, 90% had smaller adenoids and 97.5% had reduced tonsil size—two common causes of mouth breathing, snoring, and poor sleep. How did this happen? Expanding the palate (in this case with a rapid palatal expander or RPE) increases nasal volume, reducing airway resistance and irritation of lymphoid tissue. Additionally, RPE creates more space in the oral cavity,...
